We are 4Y and our class teacher is Miss Hawley and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Hallam. Thanks for having a look at our class page which will inform you about many of the exciting things that are going on in our classroom and what we are learning about.

Important Information
4Y have their PE lessons and swimming lessons every Friday.
PE kits should be kept in school at all times, even on non-PE days, as things can sometimes change at short notice. Kits should be taken home at the weekend to be washed. Please see the Sutherland Primary Academy uniform policy for further guidance on PE kit items.
Swimming kits are to be brought in on a Friday morning, and returned home on a Friday evening.
Homework and Reading
Reading is incredibly important to your child's development. Children at Sutherland each have a banded reading book. Each time they read at home and get their diary signed by an adult, they are able to earn tokens which they can collect and convert in to additional Golden Stamps!
Golden Homework is another great way to earn extra Golden Stamps! Homework tasks are handed out every two weeks and children can earn up to FOUR Golden Stamps for homework that is completed to a fantastic standard. Please see the homework tab for a copy of this term's Golden Homework tasks
Spellings will be taught on a Monday and tested on a Friday. Spellings for each term can be seen below.

Within class, the children have been using songs for the children to learn and remember their times tables. We have collected all of the links for these songs and placed them in a document below for the children to enjoy.
