On Friday 29th September 2017, 33 children from Sutherland Academy participated in a Bake Off challenge to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The children had to bake a cake at home, and then the Lord Mayor, Councillor Ross Irving, had the very difficult job of deciding who had come 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the competition. The children’s cakes were auctioned off, or sliced up to offer people for a small donation to the Coffee Morning. We all had an amazing morning at Willow Barns and the children were a real credit to the school. Well done, bakers!
