During the Summer term we are going to be looking at lots of interesting topics!
In science, we will be looking at plants, their life cycles, and what they need in order to grow - and we will grow our own plants too!
We will look at non-chronological reports in literacy, as well as an interesting range of fiction and non-fiction books.
Our first topic is 'Leisure and Entertainment in the 20th Century', we will be looking at how football, cinema, holidays and technology changed throughout the 20th Century, as well as having an in-depth look at the swinging sixties!
In maths, we will begin by looking at multiplication and division, as well as continuing to revise and develop our column addition and subtraction skills.
As ever, we always appreciate the children sharing items from home, particularly if they are connected to our current topics - I am certain some adults will have objects that originated in the 20th Century and, if you are willing, we would love to see them in school so the children can investigate them!
