Election Day
Election Day!
At Sutherland, we hold a School Council Election Day to give every pupil the opportunity to have their voice heard and to experience democracy in action. The election encourages our pupils to demonstrate integrity by making thoughtful choices, curiosity by listening to different ideas, compassion by considering the needs of others, aspiration by choosing representatives who want to make a positive difference, and resilience by having the confidence to stand for election and embrace new challenges. It is a valuable opportunity for our pupils to understand the importance of representation, responsibility and working together to make our school the best it can be.
