A very warm welcome to our school!

At Sutherland Primary Academy, our children sit at the heart of everything we do.

We strive for all of our children and adults to live, achieve and thrive guided by our school values of aspiration, compassion, integrity, curiosity and resilience.

We are a school at the heart of the community, and we encompass all that this means. Our close links with families and the local area ensure we provide a real, immersive and purposeful education with a nurturing heart but global perspective.

We strongly believe that our children deserve the best opportunities in life and education. Providing an inclusive education for all and a collaborative, aspirational, connected approach to life and learning for everyone underpins the values we hold at Sutherland.

I am privileged to lead a fantastic team where everyone from our premises staff through to our admin team, teachers and support staff have the children’s best interests at heart and provide an ambitious, creative and exciting education and school for our children.

Furthermore, our new Associate Agreement with the brilliant Societas Trust, with whom we have collaborated closely for many years, will give us even more valuable expertise and support to continually improve everything we do for our school community.
