Maths

In Year One, children are taught a range of essential maths including:

  • Place Value
  • Addition and Subtraction
  • Multiplication and Division
  • Time
  • Shape, Space and Measure
  • Fractions

In addition, by the end of KS1, children should be confident in their 2, 5 and 10 times tables. 

Homework

Children will receive maths homework every week. The homework will be related to the topics being studied in lessons. It is due back the next week.
