As we move into the new spring term we have furthered our learning into ‘squiggle whilst you wiggle’ sessions, this is the next stage which moves to more mark making and introduces letter formation.

‘Squiggle Whilst You Wiggle’ incorporates dance, music and large movements to help children develop those large and fine muscle control which they need for writing.  The children will begin this session with their flappers as with ‘wiggle’ sessions, the children will then swap their flappers for writing tools such as chalks and crayons.
